A Person who had a particularly strong influence on Murphy was Thoas Troward, who was a philosopher, doctor and professor. Murphy learned not only Philosophy and law but also Mysticism.

 

MURPHY traveled to India and spent a lot of time with Indian sages, learning Hindu PHILOSOPHY.

Murphy was a proponent of to New Thought Movement. This was developed in the late 19th and early 20TH Century by many philosopher and thinkers.
